Blessings in a Bag

Blessings In A Bag is a backpack program that has been serving and helping children from food insecure homes in the Fort Lupton community since 2006 by providing bag of supplemental weekend food.

In Fort Lupton more than 65% of students receive free or reduced lunch.<br /> At Fort Lupton High School 54% of students are eligible for free or reduced lunch. During each school year we give out an average of 130 bags per week which equals 15,000 pounds of food. Blessings In A Bag Partners with multiple community agencies including Ft Lupton Fire Department, Weld Food Bank, and Summit Body Works.
