Fossil Creek Tunnels

The City of Fort Collins utilized BTC's Design Assist services for two tunnels being constructed beneath the Union Pacific Railroad. The project helped alleviate flood conditions in this area and involved a year of design work and two 120" by 188 LF long tunnels using 1 inch steel casing (Permalok).

The tunnel progressing as 120 inch casing is jacked forward. A mini excavator then removes the material at the front of the tunnel.
